Position Details
Position: Part-Time Dental Hygienist
Location: Pocahontas Dental Associates, Pocahontas, IA
Schedule: Part-time (days and hours to be determined)
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance procedures
Conduct patient assessments and document findings
Take and interpret dental radiographs
Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care, and treatment recommendations
Assist dentists in identifying and addressing oral health concerns
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
Deliver exceptional patient care and customer service
Qualifications
Current Iowa Dental Hygienist License in good standing
CPR/BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
Experience with dental software and electronic health records preferred
New graduates are encouraged to apply
