Job Description
SUMMARY
Performs dental measures designed to preserve teeth and prevent the spread of oral disease by performing approved duties.
The functions of this position will be done in various elementary school settings, requiring travel to Jefferson, Lafayette, Madison, and Taylor Counties.
The position is based in Perry.
SCHEDULE/HOURS:
Monday – Friday, during the school year
Typically, 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
No weekends
Travel required
EDUCATION and CERTIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
Maintains a current Florida Dental Hygienist license to practice, including certifications as appropriate and required
One to two years related experience and/or training
Or equivalent combination of education and experience (i.e. associates of science degree with experience)
Current CPR/BLS certification.
