Dental Hygienist, (RDH) or (IPDH)

Part time IMMEDIATE opening, this could easily turn into a full time position if interested
Hygiene duties include

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations

-Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history review and oral cancer screenings

-Maintain a sterile working environment

- Utilize dental software systems (such as CURVE) to record patient information and treatment plans

-Follow infection control protocols and maintain aseptic technique throughout all procedures

- Adhere to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality

-Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive patient care

- Valid state Independent Dental Hygiene License or Valid state Registered Dental Hygiene License

- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program

- Experience working in a dental office setting

- Proficiency in pediatric dental hygiene techniques is a plus

-Confident with Periodontal care / scaling and root planing and periodontal maintenance-Comfortable with treatment planning

- Knowledge of dental coding and billing procedures

Office is open Tue-Fri 7am-4pm and Saturdays 7am-12pm.

We are a small well established dental hygiene practice that is growing. Currently one full time hygienist and one part time hygienist, with a full-time office manager. We serve the local community of Limerick and surrounding towns, over 4000 active patients. We refer to local dentist and specialist for treatment.
