Village Dental in Orrville is looking for a Registered Dental Hygienist to join our family-owned, privately operated practice.

We're a busy office with a large established patient base and a hygiene waitlist that extends well into the future. We're looking for someone who wants a consistently full schedule and enjoys staying busy while providing great patient care.

Whether you're an experienced hygienist or a recent graduate, we'd love to meet you.

Schedule
Full-Time:
Monday–Thursday, ideally 8:00 AM–3:00 PM
Part-Time:
We're also happy to work with hygienists who want to work 1–3 days per week. If you currently work at another office, that's completely fine. Give us your availability several weeks in advance and we'll work with you to build a consistent schedule.

We're flexible with the right person—we're primarily looking for someone who can commit to being here consistently during the days they choose to work.

What You'll Be Doing
Providing comprehensive preventive hygiene care
Performing routine cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Taking appropriate dental radiographs
Educating patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health
Identifying and communicating areas of concern to the doctor
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Building lasting relationships with patients
Working collaboratively with the doctors and dental team
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is:
A licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in Ohio (or completing the licensing process)
Dependable and professional
Friendly and comfortable communicating with patients
Comfortable working independently
A team player who is willing to help wherever needed
Motivated to provide excellent patient care
Comfortable in a busy, high-throughput dental practice

We are a busy practice. That's a good thing if you enjoy having a full schedule and staying productive.

We currently have more patients requesting hygiene appointments than we have available hygiene time. You won't be walking into an empty schedule wondering where your patients are coming from.

We work hard, see a lot of patients, and take our responsibility to our community seriously—but we also believe you should enjoy the people you work with.

We're a family-owned practice, and we want our employees to feel like part of the team.

If you prefer a very slow-paced office with lots of downtime, we probably aren't the right fit.
