Registered Dental Hygienist Job Summary
We are a small, patient-focused private practice general dental office looking for an enthusiastic, passionate dental hygienist to join our Kirkwood area dental team!
Our office is primarily fee for service which allows us to focus on providing quality care and excellent customer service to our patients. You hear it all the time but we truly have the BEST team focused on a happy healthy work environment and supporting one another.

Registered Dental Hygienist Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for...
Calm, friendly chairside manner
Desire to get to know patients on personal level
Good work ethic, efficient, timely with patient care
Desire to work as part of a team. Positive attitude always.
Comfortable working with digital technology (intraoral cameras, digital x-rays, scanner, paperless charting, etc)
Values and pursues continuing education
Gentle touch, yet effective and thorough
Passion for dental hygiene and in-depth knowledge of periodontal disease.
Up-to-date on new topics in dental hygiene. Passion for delivering personalized patient education.
Detailed knowledge of oral and systemic health and the ability to motivate patients.
Comfort with explaining periodontal disease using visual aids, completing a thorough oral cancer exam, reviewing medical histories and linking this to perio health, recommending and completing Scaling and Root Planing, fluoride treatments, sealants, etc…
Appropriate licensure:
current Missouri dental hygiene license
local anesthetic (block certified) and nitrous administration, or we can help you earn this
CPR (or we will help you update)
experienced providers or new graduates are all welcome
Experience with Dentrix is not necessary, but is a plus!
Benefits for our new Dental Hygienist
Compensation will be determined based on applicant and experience/skills. Eligibility for benefits depends on hours worked. Questions about the details?? Let's talk!
Ideally, you would work with us 3 days per week (pick your days M, T, W, or Th), but we are open to alternatives! Only looking for 1 day per week? We can make this work as well.
We are flexible on the days of the week that you would work, so let's talk!
We have wonderful hours, Monday-Thursday 7am - 4pm for patient care, with a morning huddle at 6:35am! Get off work in time to have dinner with your family, make it to the kids’ ball game or happy hour with your friends, and enjoy your evenings again.
No Fridays, no late evenings, no holidays, and no weekend hours!
