Job Description
We are a highly rated higher end private dental office in South Reno looking for a team member who is passionate about quality patient care to join our amazing team. 60 Minute appointment times that allow you to provide thorough, quality care without feeling rushed.
Sirona style office equipped with brand new hi-tech equipment.
Member joining our team will have the opportunity to learn, train in new technology and participate in CE courses and grow with us.
We offer competitive compensation package including a performance based bonus since at D Dentistry we believe in wellbeing and success of our staff as well.
We are seeking a reliable Registered Dental Hygienist to join our dental team. Applicants must possess a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including scaling, SRP and polishing teeth
Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible
Sterilize dental instruments properly
Conduct mouth screenings and check oral health
Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries and periodontitis
Perform duties of a licensed Dental Hygienist
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
Take X-rays (4BW+2PA and CBCT as prescribed by the dentist)
Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes
Assist the dentist during exams.
Monitor supplies
Skills
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist
Proficient in infection control protocols
Proficient in preparing and maintaining dental equipment
Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and dental team
A patient and friendly personality
Attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time / Full Time
Pay: Starting at $50 Plus production bonus
Schedule:
8 hour shift.
Week days

License/Certification:
State of Nevada Registered Dental Hygienist License (Required)
