Dental Hygienist – Part-Time

Family First Dental in Rexburg, ID is looking for a motivated and compassionate Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our patient-centered dental team. This is a great opportunity for a dental hygienist who enjoys building meaningful patient relationships, providing excellent preventive care, and working in a supportive, team-oriented dental practice.
Position Details
Position: Part-Time Dental Hygienist / Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Location: Rexburg, ID
Schedule: Every Friday and Saturday — 2 days per week
Compensation: Up to $70/hour

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive dental hygiene and preventive care
Perform routine dental hygiene procedures in a single-column hygiene setting
Educate patients about proper oral hygiene, periodontal health, and preventive dental care
Build strong relationships with patients and provide a comfortable experience
Collaborate with dentists and the dental team to support comprehensive patient care
Maintain accurate patient records, periodontal charting, and clinical documentation
Follow appropriate infection-control and safety protocols
Help create a clean, professional, and welcoming dental environment
Qualifications
Active Idaho Dental Hygiene License required
Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent attention to detail
Passion for patient care and oral health education
Positive, professional attitude
Ability to work independently while collaborating with a dental team
Dependable and motivated work ethic
