Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the highest standards of infection control and dental hygiene practices. This role is essential in promoting oral health and educating patients about proper dental care.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments, including scaling and polishing teeth.
Conduct patient evaluations, including taking medical histories and recording vital signs.
Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, preventive care, and the importance of regular dental visits.
Maintain accurate medical records using Eaglesoft dental software.
Assist in infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
Collaborate with dentists to provide comprehensive care, including four-handed dentistry techniques.
Manage pediatric dentistry cases with patience and expertise.
Support the office with medical coding as needed for insurance purposes.
Experience
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist in a dental office setting is preferred.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft dental software system is a plus.
Strong understanding of infection control protocols and patient care standards.
Experience in general dentistry practices as well as pediatric dentistry is highly desirable.
