Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dental office for either full or part time. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient care abilities, and a thorough understanding of dental procedures and terminology. The Dental Hygienist will play a vital role in patient assessment, education, and maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Duties
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Conduct patient assessments by taking vital signs and reviewing medical histories
Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records using Eaglesoft
Ensure infection control protocols are strictly followed, including aseptic techniques and sterilization procedures
Review medical records for relevant health information and coordinate with dentists for treatment planning
Support pediatric dentistry procedures when applicable, ensuring a gentle approach for young patients
Monitor patient comfort during procedures and provide compassionate care tailored to individual needs
Adhere to HIPAA regulations to protect patient privacy at all times
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current credentials
CPR certification
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Eaglesoft experience is a plus (but not required)
Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
