Job Description
**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in dentistry practices and procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care.
New graduates welcome!
**Responsibilities:**
- Conduct dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, scaling and root planing and assist dentists during examinations
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care
- Take dental x-rays
- Administer local anesthetics
- Maintain accurate patient records
**Requirements:**
- Valid Dental Hygienist license
- Proficiency in Dentrix software is a plus
- Understanding of dental anatomy
- Ability to perform patient assessments
- Strong infection control practices
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations
- Previous work in a dental office setting preferred
