Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and fluoride treatments, to promote oral health.

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.

Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to foster long-term health.

Maintain accurate and detailed dental records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Open Dental, Pearl, and XDR, ensuring HIPAA compliance.

Skills
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control protocols, and aseptic techniques.

Ability to perform patient care tasks confidently while demonstrating excellent communication skills.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
