Job Description
Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH)
Pay: $55 per hour + 15% SEP IRA Contributions = $63.25 per hour
Expected hours: 1 to 4 days a week or 8 – 32 hours per week
Benefits:
SEP IRA 15% contributions by us (you don’t need to contribute)
Up to 18 days of Paid time off & Holidays
100% Employer paid health insurance on day one if working 32 hours a week.
Stability: You are guaranteed to be paid for the entire day you're scheduled; you will not lose any pay if any of your patients miss their appointment.

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, dental terminology, and infection control, with a passion for promoting oral health and delivering exceptional patient experiences. As a Dental Hygienist, you will be responsible for providing preventive dental services, assisting with patient assessments, and supporting general dentistry procedures in a fast-paced clinic setting.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, vital signs, and current dental conditions.
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care strategies tailored to their needs.
Assist dentists during various procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and comfort.
Take and develop medical imaging such as X-rays while adhering to aseptic techniques and infection control protocols.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, treatment plans, and medical histories in electronic health record (EHR) systems like Eaglesoft or Dentrix.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding patient confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly.
Skills
Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dentrix for scheduling, documentation review, and record management.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control procedures.
Skilled in chairside assisting, including medical imaging, vital signs monitoring, and aseptic technique application.
Excellent patient care skills with the ability to communicate effectively about treatment plans and oral health education.
Familiarity with medical terminology, medical coding, and documentation review processes relevant to dental practice management.
