Job Description
Are you a friendly, caring and skilled dental hygienist looking to bring your career to the next level? Bel Air Dental Arts is a brand new, privately owned, high-end, state-of-the-art dental practice in Abingdon, MD seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Ideal candidates should be eager to learn and passionate about delivering top-tier clinical care. We regularly participate in continuing education opportunities and community events to help our practice grow and stay at the forefront of modern dentistry.
Help us build a dental office that you would be happy to call yours and want to brag about to your friends and family.
Our office offers restorative, endodontics, Invisalign, CT-guided implant dentistry, periodontics, and oral surgery.
All team members must be willing to step in to help when help is needed. This is a small team, and we take care of each other.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive hygiene exams, cleanings, and periodontal treatments.
Take digital X-rays, intraoral photos, and digital scans with iTero.
Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, oral health, and post-treatment care.
Administer Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT) and Laser Bacterial Reduction (LBR) for optimal patient outcomes.
Prepare and maintain hygiene treatment rooms and sterilization areas.
Provide exceptional customer service and build long-lasting patient relationships.
Participate in office social media and community events to help build our practice.
Attend group continuing education events to stay current on the latest dental technologies and hygiene protocols.
Requirements
1 year of previous experience as a Dental Hygienist is required.
Laser-Assisted Periodontal Therapy (LAPT) training is preferred.
Active state Dental Hygiene License and current CPR certification.
Attention to infection control and strict OSHA compliance.
Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality.

Willingness and drive to learn and implement new techniques and technologies to keep our office cutting-edge.
