Job Summary
Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Hygienist, where your expertise will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting optimal oral health. Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized care plans to improve their dental health.
Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments with efficiency and professionalism.
Maintain detailed patient records using dental practice management software such as Dentrix.
Support pediatric patients by creating a friendly atmosphere that encourages cooperation and reduces anxiety.
Manage appointment scheduling, patient follow-ups, and ensure smooth workflow within the dental office.
Uphold infection control protocols and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license or certification as required by state law.
Prior experience working in a dental office setting is preferred; strong customer service skills are essential.
Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix is highly desirable.
Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and terminology is a plus.
Bilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse patient populations.
Experience with pediatric dentistry or working with children is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality.
