Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in patient care and oral health promotion. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented, personable, and dedicated to delivering exceptional care to every patient. We offer a stress-free environment (this is not a DSO), and flexible scheduling to make sure you enjoy coming in to work.
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and oral exams.
Perform scaling and root planing procedures.
Take dental x-rays (digital).
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and disease prevention techniques.
Assist dentists during procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records.
Requirements:
Valid Dental Hygienist license.
Proven experience as a Dental Hygienist (new graduates welcome to apply).
Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
Excellent verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and infection control protocols.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Commitment to continuing education in dental hygiene.
CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Open Dental software a plus.
