Dental Hygienist

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our reputable dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, perform dental cleanings, and assist in maintaining a clean and efficient clinical environment. The Dental Hygienist will utilize their expertise in dental terminology, infection control, and patient assessment to ensure optimal oral health outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
Perform dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing procedures with precision and care
Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment plans
Assist with chairside procedures such as medical imaging and documentation review
Maintain strict infection control protocols using aseptic techniques
Manage patient records accurately within EMR systems such as Eaglesoft .

Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Prior experience working in a dental office or clinic setting is required,
