We are seeking a skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team at Alexander Vasserman DDS. Located in a welcoming environment, this role is vital in delivering high-quality patient care and promoting optimal oral health for our patients. We are looking for an hygienist available to work on Tuesdays and Thursdays .
Responsibilities
Perform thorough patient assessments and cleanings to maintain optimal oral health.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of treatments provided.
Implement infection control protocols to ensure patient safety.
Monitor vital signs and report any changes to the dentist.
Utilize medical imaging equipment to assist in diagnostics as required.
Qualifications
Valid dental hygiene license in the state of practice.
Strong background in patient assessment and care techniques.
Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
Ability to perform medical imaging procedures accurately.
Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work collaboratively within a dental team.
