Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our dental team! In this vital role, you will provide exceptional patient care by performing dental cleanings, assessments and preventive treatments while ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for every patient. Your expertise in dental hygiene, combined with your passion for promoting oral health, will help us deliver top-quality care in a friendly and professional environment.
Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings
Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical histories, current dental conditions and diagnostics
Take digital dental X-rays and imaging
Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, charts and clinical notes using electronic health record (EHR) system Softdent.
Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control standards, to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting (RDH)
Current CPR certification
Strong knowledge of dental and medical terminology, anatomy, and dental equipment operation
Ability to perform x-ray procedures safely while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively about their oral health needs.
Estimated hours:
Monday: 8am-4pm
Tuesday: 2pm-6pm
Wednesday: 7am-12pm
Thursday: 2pm-8pm
Friday: 8am-4pm
Saturday: 8am-2pm (1x a month)
Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
