Dental Hygienist

Responsibilities
Perform dental cleanings and periodontal maintenance
Take digital radiographs (FMX, bitewings, panoramic as needed)
Perform periodontal charting and assessments
Educate patients on oral hygiene and preventive care
Assist in identifying treatment needs and communicating findings to the doctor
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes
Follow sterilization and infection control protocols
Help create a positive patient experience from start to finish
Qualifications
Active Rhode Island Dental Hygiene License
CPR Certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality patient care
Experience with Open Dental preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
Local anesthesia certification preferred
