Dental Hygienist – Little Smile Big Smile
West Hempstead, NY
Little Smile Big Smile is a well-established, family-focused dental practice in West Hempstead that has been proudly serving the community for over 40 years. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and compassionate Dental Hygienist to join our growing team.
We are currently looking for a hygienist primarily for Sundays, Mondays and Fridays but we are flexible with days and hours for the right candidate.
Position Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive preventive dental hygiene care to patients
Perform dental cleanings, periodontal assessments, and necessary X-rays
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and preventive care
Review medical and dental histories
Maintain accurate and thorough patient records
Communicate effectively with dentists and the rest of the dental team
Create a comfortable and positive experience for patients of all ages
Follow all OSHA, infection-control, and office protocols
What We're Looking For
Licensed Dental Hygienist in New York State
Friendly, professional, and patient-focused personality
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable and dependable
Comfortable treating both children and adults
Ability to work independently while being a team player
