Dental Hygienist

We are a privately owned dental practice focused on providing excellent patient care in a positive, professional, and team-oriented environment. We’re looking for a hygienist who takes pride in their work, enjoys developing relationships with patients, and wants to be part of a practice where everyone works together to provide a great patient experience.

Provides thorough, high-quality periodontal and preventive care
Is friendly, compassionate, and comfortable communicating with patients
Stays organized and works efficiently throughout the day
Values staying on schedule while still providing excellent care
Communicates clearly and respectfully with doctors, assistants, and front-office staff
Is willing to help the team when needed and appreciates a team that does the same
Is dependable and takes ownership of their schedule and responsibilities
Educates patients and helps them understand the importance of recommended treatment
Brings a positive attitude to work
Responsibilities
Adult and pediatric prophylaxis
Periodontal maintenance and scaling/root planing
Digital X-rays
Periodontal charting
Patient education
Reviewing medical and dental histories
Supporting comprehensive treatment planning and patient care
Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
Working collaboratively with the doctor and the rest of the clinical team

Requirements
Current Illinois Dental Hygienist license
Current CPR certification
Strong clinical and communication skills
Dentrix experience is a plus, but not required
Schedule: Monday 9am-6pm, Tuesday 8am-5pm, Wednesday 8am-5pm, Thursday 8am-5pm, Fridays by appointment onlyu
Compensation: $50–$60/hour, depending on experience
