Job Summary
We are looking for a dental hygienist to join our team in providing excellent dental care in a friendly environment. We are open to part-time or full-time employment. We look forward to meeting you!
Duties
Perform comprehensive dental cleanings and oral health assessments for patients.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental care.
Assist in the management of patient medical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Conduct periodontal assessments and charting, documenting findings accurately in medical records.
Collaborate with the dental team to develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards.
Stay updated on current dental practices, technologies, and regulations relevant to the field.
Provide support in pediatric dentistry as needed, ensuring a positive experience for younger patients.
Qualifications
Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of practice.
Experience in a dental office setting is highly desirable.
Knowledge of infection control procedures and best practices.
Strong patient assessment skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines.
