Job Summary
We are seeking to add a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. We are seeking someone full-time, but will consider part-time. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, performing dental cleanings and education. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient assessment, and excellent communication skills to ensure a positive experience for our patients.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough dental cleanings and examinations, ensuring optimal oral health for patients.
Assess and document patients' medical histories and vital signs accurately.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Assist in the development of individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments.
Utilize Eaglesoft software for documentation and patient management.
Review documentation to ensure compliance with dental office protocols and regulations.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to infection control standards.
Skills
Proficient in patient care practices.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and dental terminology relevant to the field.
Experience with documentation review processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ability to perform patient assessments effectively, identifying any areas of concern.
Familiarity with Eaglesoft or similar dental practice management software is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and team members alike.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 - $48.00 per hour
