Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Part-Time Dental Hygienists to join our vibrant dental team! Located on Bridgeport/ Trumbull line. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by providing professional dental hygiene services, supporting overall oral health, and ensuring a positive patient experience. Responsibilities
Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, including brushing, flossing, and dietary advice
Review and update medical records accurately while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations for patient confidentiality
Conduct initial patient assessments and review medical history forms to identify any health concerns or contraindications
Support infection control protocols by practicing aseptic techniques and sterilizing dental instruments effectively
Requirements
Valid state licensure as a Dental Hygienist with current certification to practice in a clinical setting
Proficiency with dental software systems such as Eaglesoft and Dexis are a plus
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and dental imaging
Familiarity with infection control standards and medical records management
Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively and provide compassionate care
