Smile Studio 87 is a modern, high-energy dental practice in Woodridge, IL, seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator / Billing & Front Desk Specialist to join our growing team.

This position is only for candidates with previous dental office experience handling insurance, billing, and front-desk responsibilities. Please do not apply if you do not have prior dental billing and insurance experience.

Key Responsibilities
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits for all patients
Submit, track, and follow up on insurance claims and pre-authorizations
Post insurance and patient payments accurately and manage aging reports
Handle patient billing questions and resolve claim denials efficiently
Greet and check patients in/out, schedule appointments, and manage the daily flow
Communicate clearly with patients and team members to ensure a positive experience
Support the front desk with calls, confirmations, and financial coordination
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of dental insurance and billing experience (required)
Proficiency in Dentrix (preferred)
Strong knowledge of PPO plans, claims processing, and A/R management
Experience handling front-desk operations in a dental office
Excellent organizational and communication skills
