Job Description
I am going to make this simple:
We need a DENTAL INSURANCE GOD.
We are looking for someone who knows dental insurance inside and out and can collect like their rent depends on it. This is not an entry-level position. We need someone experienced, confident, organized, and relentless when it comes to getting claims paid.
This person must know:
ADA codes
Dental narratives
Claim submissions with proper attachments
Appeals and denial management
How to follow up until claims are paid
How to verify insurance accurately
How to calculate patient portions
How to communicate with patients professionally and confidently to collect balances
You must be able to work unpaid claims, appeal underpaid or denied claims, and stay on top of insurance aging without needing constant reminders.
We need someone who understands that collecting is what keeps a dental office healthy, and who takes ownership of the process from start to finish.
Requirements:
Dental insurance experience is required
Strong knowledge of ADA codes and dental claims
Experience with narratives, appeals, attachments, and EOBs
Comfortable speaking with patients about balances
Reliable, organized, and accountable
Must be able to work independently and follow through
Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay: Depends on experience
