Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and professional Front Desk Receptionist to join our dental office. The ideal candidate will provide excellent patient service while efficiently managing scheduling, communication, insurance information, and daily front-office operations.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and provide a welcoming experience.
Answer phones, respond to messages, and assist patients with questions.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
Check patients in and out and maintain accurate patient information.
Verify dental insurance eligibility and benefits.
Collect copayments, deductibles, and other patient balances.
Review treatment estimates.
Submit and follow up on dental insurance claims.
Maintain accurate records while protecting patient confidentiality.
Coordinate with dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists to maintain an efficient schedule.
Monitor appointment cancellations and help fill open appointment times.
Qualifications
Previous dental or medical front-desk experience preferred.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and electronic records.
Knowledge of dental insurance and terminology is a plus.
Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
