You will manage appointment scheduling, insurance verification, patient check-in and check-out, and handle a variety of administrative tasks with enthusiasm and professionalism. Responsibilities
Open office and close office when last patient leaves
Greet patients warmly and professionally, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued throughout their visit
Schedule appointments efficiently using Eaglesoft dental practice management software.
Verify insurance coverage and benefits, including Medicare.
Manage patient intake forms, and review documentation for accuracy in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Handle multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette to answer inquiries, schedule appointments, and relay messages promptly
Process payments, perform medical collections when necessary, and assist with billing procedures.
Maintain organized filing of dental records, and office documentation while ensuring confidentiality and data security
Skills
High school diploma or equivalent.
2 years of administration experience in dental office.
Knowledge of dental terminology, and insurance verification processes
Familiarity with Eaglesoft for scheduling and record management
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and handle patient inquiries professionally and courteously
Strong organizational skills for managing appointments, filing systems, and office workflows
Professional, dependable, positive, well-organized and willing to assist anywhere in the office when needed.
