About the Role
We are seeking a bilingual (English/Spanish) Dental Front Desk Receptionist who is friendly, organized, and experienced with dental insurance verification. This position is ideal for someone who is computer‑savvy, positive, and able to multitask in a fast‑paced dental environment.
Responsibilities
Greet patients professionally and provide excellent customer service
Manage check‑in and check‑out processes
Verify Denti‑Cal, PPO, and HMO insurance benefits accurately
Collect co‑pays, balances, and explain financial responsibilities
Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
Answer multi‑line phone calls and assist patients with inquiries
Update patient records and maintain accurate documentation
Coordinate patient flow with clinical staff
Perform administrative tasks including scanning, uploading, and data entry
Present treatment plans and assist with patient communication
Required Qualifications
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Experience verifying Denti‑Cal, PPO, and HMO insurance
Knowledge of dental front office workflow
Computer savvy and comfortable learning new software
Experience with Oryx, Dentrix, or Eaglesoft
Strong communication and customer service skills
Positive, professional attitude
Ability to multitask in a busy environment
Reliable, punctual, and team‑oriented
Preferred Qualifications
Previous dental front desk experience
Understanding of dental terminology
Experience presenting treatment plans
Strong organizational skills
