Job Description
Oakland Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a front desk receptionist/insurance coordinator who is willing to grow with the practice! We are a new, growing office, and ready to serve children in the Oakland/Winter Garden/Ocoee/Clermont area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner.
- Provide accurate information to callers and visitors regarding company services, policies, and procedures.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars for dental appointments.
- Verify patient insurance and make sure it is entered correctly in Open Dental software.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Coordinate with other receptionist and dental assistants to ensure smooth operations in front desk and treatment rooms.
- Assist with special projects and events as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a front desk receptionist at a dental office a MUST.
- Excellent proofreading and file management skills.
- Proficient in using Open Dental software.
- Strong project coordination abilities with attention to detail.
- Knowledge of administrative procedures and clerical tasks.
- Familiarity with dental receptionist duties.
- Ability to effectively communicate with parents, children, and individuals at all levels.
- Comfortable working in a computerized environment.
- Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
