Job Description
Small local dentist office - Dry Ridge Family Dentistry, Dr. Jennifer Meek, D.M.D. - is looking for a friendly and professional candidate to be our receptionist and scheduler.
The Dental Receptionist is responsible for managing the front desk and serving as the first point of contact for patients.
This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service, maintaining an organized schedule, and supporting the daily operations of the dental office.
- Front Desk & Patient Interaction: Greet patients, answer phones, check patients in/out, maintain a welcoming environment
- Scheduling: Schedule, reschedule, confirm appointments, and send reminders
- Insurance & Payments: Collect co-pays, verify basic insurance, assist with billing questions
- Administrative Tasks: Update patient records, manage paperwork, support office operations
- Frequent interaction with patients and staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Attention to detail
- Dependable
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to use the computer proficiently
- Team-oriented mindset
- Combination of sitting, standing, and computer work
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly pay based on experience

Pay: Starting at $16.00 per hour but compensation depends on experience and competency
