Dental Office Receptionist

Overview
Foster Family Dental in Evergreen, CO is looking to add a receptionist to our team. We are a small, fee-for-service, private practice with a wonderfully loyal patient base. NO experience is necessary but candidates with previous dental office experience will be prioritized. Duties
Greet patients warmly, verify appointments, and check-in/check-out using Open Dental practice management software.

Schedule appointments accurately via dental practice management software and coordinate patient flow throughout the day
Handle patient inquiries by phone and in person with professional phone etiquette and excellent customer service skills
Collect and process payments, including dental collections and insurance co-pays, utilizing dental insurance knowledge and billing procedures
Review and update medical records ensuring compliance with clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA regulations
Assist with documentation review, including verifying CDT codes.

Maintain organized filing systems for dental records, insurance documents, and office supplies.

Support clinical staff with administrative duties such as preparing care plans documentation, managing appointment reminders, and updating patient information in Open Dental.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 27.0 per week
