About the Role:
Orange City Modern Dentistry is looking for a warm, organized, and patient-focused Dental Patient Care Coordinator to be the welcoming face of our practice in Orange City, FL. In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating exceptional patient experiences from the first phone call to the final appointment. Responsibilities:
Greet and check in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming front office experience
Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the dental office calendar efficiently
Verify dental insurance benefits and assist patients with coverage and billing questions
Present and explain treatment plans, coordinating patient financing options when needed
Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries in a timely, professional manner
Collect and process patient payments, co-pays, and account balances
Maintain accurate patient records and update demographic and insurance information in dental practice management software
Requirements:
Prior experience in a dental or medical front office coordinator role preferred
Familiarity with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar)
Knowledge of dental insurance verification and billing processes
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first attitude
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a busy office environment
Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Office
High school diploma or equivalent required; dental administrative training a plus
