Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Dental Receptionist/Treatment Plan Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental practice by providing exceptional patient service and managing office tasks efficiently. This position requires familiarity with dental terminology and office management skills to create a welcoming environment for our patients.
Duties
Greet patients warmly upon arrival and assist them with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the clinic's calendar effectively, ensuring optimal patient flow.
Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and health histories.
Coordinating with other healthcare providers as necessary.
Process patient information, including insurance verification and billing inquiries.
Utilize 10 key typing skills for data entry tasks related to patient accounts and office management.
Provide outstanding patient service by addressing questions or concerns promptly and professionally.
Assist in maintaining a clean and organized reception area to enhance the overall patient experience.
Experience
Previous experience in a dental office is required.
Proficiency in dental terminology is essential for effective communication with patients and staff.
Familiarity with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is required.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to interact positively with patients, staff, and healthcare professionals.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
