Job Description
At Simply Dental of Lowell, the Patient Coordinator is more than a front desk role — you are the first impression and a key part of creating a calm, welcoming experience that helps patients feel comfortable from the moment they walk in. If you thrive in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment and know how to keep a schedule running smoothly, we’d love to meet you.
Candidates fluent in Khmer are encouraged to apply!
Responsibilities:
Create a welcoming, high-energy environment by greeting patients and setting the tone for an exceptional visit
Keep the day running seamlessly by managing the schedule, minimizing wait times, and proactively solving issues as they arise
Serve as the connection point between patients and the clinical team, ensuring smooth handoffs and clear communication
Support patients through their visit — from check-in to check-out — including scheduling next appointments and collecting payments
Present treatment plans, explain insurance coverage, and discuss financial options with confidence and accuracy
Stay ahead of the schedule by confirming appointments, verifying insurance, and following up on missed or late arrivals
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all processes align with HIPAA standards
Contribute to a clean, organized, and professional front office environment
Support the team with onboarding, training, and day-to-day office operations
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management
This is an opportunity to step into a well-run, team-oriented practice where your role is essential to both the patient experience and the success of the office.
Full-time Benefits
We recognize that taking care of our team is just as important as taking care of our patients. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including:
Health insurance starting on your first day of employment
Vision insurance
Paid vacation time
Paid holidays
Paid sick time
Dental and orthodontic benefits
401(k) retirement plan with employer contribution
Consistent, set schedule (no weekends!)

Previous experience in a dental office setting is preferred

Proven ability to manage a busy schedule and multitask in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills with the ability to confidently speak with patients about treatment and finances
High attention to detail and accuracy in handling patient information and payments
Professional presence with a positive, team-oriented mindset that provides exceptional customer service to all our patients
Comfort using practice management software and standard office tools
