Job Description
Our growing dental practice is seeking a detail‑oriented and patient‑focused Dental Patient Coordinator to join our team. This role is essential in creating a positive first impression for patients and ensuring smooth daily operations. Must be friendly, organized, and comfortable working in a busy dental practice. Preferred experience in revenue cycle management and comfortable having financial conversations with patients and parents.
Responsibilities
Welcome patients and build trust through clear communication
Collect and update patient information and medical histories
Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
Help patients understand their appointments and treatment steps
Provide exceptional customer service and support front office operations
Coordinate payment arrangements and discuss financing options
Help patients understand coverage and review financial responsibilities
Process claims, track outstanding claims, and follow up on unpaid balances
Experience
Dental office experience preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
High attention to detail and accuracy
Knowledge of CDT codes
Experience with dental insurance and treatment planning
Medical knowledge and terminology is a plus
Someone who enjoys being part of a supportive team
