Dental Patient Coordinator

Job Overview
We are looking to hire a caring, detail orientated and experienced Patient Care Coordinator to join our beautiful practice in Union Square. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and excellent customer service skills is a must. Long term position for stability and to be part of something great! Duties
Greet patients warmly and manage front desk responsibilities with professionalism and enthusiasm
Schedule appointments efficiently using dental software and coordinate patient flow
Verify insurance coverage, explain treatment plans, and collect payments while adhering to HIPAA confidentiality policies
Review medical records, documentation, and insurance information for accuracy and completeness
Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers to resolve scheduling or billing issues
Support clinical staff by treatment plan documentation and coordinating follow-up appointments
Business experience to grow the practice
Skills
Proven experience in dental clinic or medical office environments with strong knowledge of healthcare operations
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle sensitive information discreetly under HIPAA guidelines
Effective phone etiquette and communication skills for scheduling appointments and addressing patient inquiries
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and clinical confidentiality policies
Pay: $25.00 - $38.00 per hour
