Duties
Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and facilitate smooth check-in and check-out processes
Schedule appointments efficiently using dental practice management (Dentrix)
Verify insurance coverage, process claims, and handle patient billing.
Manage medical records and ensure proper documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Answer phone with professional phone etiquette, directing calls appropriately
Assist with medical administrative support including filing, data entry, and maintaining organized patient files
Support clinic operations by coordinating care plans, reviewing documentation, and assisting with dental coding.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a dental receptionist is highly required.
Strong knowledge of dental terminology.
Proficiency in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems (Dentrix)
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
Ability to handle insurance verification processes and dental billing with attention to detail
Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality and data security
Exceptional customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette and effective communication abilities
