Dental Front Desk Receptionist
Damonte Ranch Dental Care is looking for a friendly, dependable, and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. We are a private dental practice in South Reno focused on providing excellent patient care in a professional, welcoming environment.

Our front desk team plays an important role in creating a great experience for our patients and keeping the day running smoothly. We are looking for someone who communicates well, pays attention to details, takes initiative, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Responsibilities
Greet and check in patients in a warm and professional manner
Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling and general questions
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
Check patients in and out accurately and efficiently
Collect patient payments and discuss payment arrangements when appropriate
Review treatment plans, estimated insurance benefits, and patient portions
Verify dental insurance benefits and assist with basic insurance questions
Maintain accurate patient records and update patient information
Work with the doctors, hygienists, and dental assistants to keep the schedule running smoothly
Help fill openings and respond to changes in the daily schedule
Communicate office policies and appointment information clearly and professionally
Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA requirements
Assist with general front-office and administrative duties as needed
Pitch in and support other team members when needed
Qualifications
Previous dental front-office experience is preferred, but not required; we are willing to train the right person
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Friendly and professional demeanor
Reliable and punctual
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks
Comfortable discussing treatment costs and collecting payments
Able to remain calm and helpful in a busy office environment
Comfortable learning dental practice-management software
Willing to take initiative, learn new skills, and help coworkers when needed
Experience with Dentrix or dental insurance is a plus, but not required.

We're looking for someone who is personable, dependable, and genuinely enjoys helping people. You don't need years of dental experience to be successful in this position—we value a strong work ethic, attention to detail, good communication skills, and a willingness to learn.

Because we are a small dental office, teamwork is especially important. We want someone who communicates openly, notices when something needs to be done, and is willing to help rather than thinking only in terms of a narrow job description.

The front desk is often the first and last interaction our patients have with our office, so we're looking for someone who will help make those interactions friendly, efficient, and professional.

Position Details
Location: Reno, NV
Employment: Full-time or part-time
Full-time schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM–5:00 PM, plus approximately one Friday per month
Pay: $18–$23 per hour, depending on experience
