The Position Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage the front desk operations efficiently.

Schedule and confirm patient appointments, ensuring optimal utilization of the dentist's time.

Handle patient check-in and check-out processes, including collecting necessary information and payments.

Verify insurance coverage and process medical collections as needed.

Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health records using software like Dentrix Ascend
Assist with medical billing processes, including coding with ICD-10 when necessary.

Provide support to dental staff as needed to ensure a seamless workflow.

Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans, appointments, and any inquiries they may have.

Uphold confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations at all times.

Qualifications
Previous or in a similar role in office is preferred.

Ascend or other dental practice management software is an asset.
procedures and insurance verification processes is essential.

Strong organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Excellent communication skills; candidates are encouraged to apply.

Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.

Understanding of ICD-10 coding is a plus but not required.
