Job Description

Private dental office hiring a Front Office Administrative Assistant
This role is for someone who is excellent with people, strong in written and verbal communication, calm under pressure, and quick to learn software. Most patient communication is by text, then phone, and least by email.

You may be a strong fit if you can:
build rapport quickly with patients
write warm, clear texts that get responses
speak confidently and empathetically on the phone
stay organized with scheduling, follow-up, and payments
learn systems like Dentrix quickly
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly
Text and call patients about scheduling and follow-up
Manage appointments and schedule changes
Collect copays and balances professionally
Keep records accurate and organized
Help the office run smoothly each day
What matters most
Outstanding verbal and written communication
Strong people skills and emotional intelligence
Creative follow-up when patients do not respond
Good memory for names, returning patients, and details
Computer savvy and fast learner
Professional, dependable, and calm in a busy office
Preferred experience
Dental, medical, hospitality, concierge, retail, or front desk experience
Dentrix experience is a plus
Basic dental insurance knowledge is a plus
