Job Description
Coast Dental Centre is looking for an experienced Senior Dental Receptionist to join our established and growing practice. We have proudly served the Maple Ridge community for more than 30 years.
We are seeking someone confident, organized and dependable who can help keep our front desk and daily schedule running smoothly while providing an excellent patient experience.
Responsibilities
Manage the daily schedule to maintain strong and productive patient flow
Answer phones and welcome patients
Book and confirm appointments
Present treatment plans and coordinate follow-up
Process dental insurance, estimates and predeterminations
Collect payments and maintain accurate patient accounts
Manage recalls, unscheduled treatment and overdue accounts
Support and guide the reception team
Communicate effectively with dentists, hygienists and clinical staff
Maintain accurate patient records and front-desk systems
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of dental terminology, insurance and treatment coordination
ClearDent experience is strongly preferred
Excellent communication and customer-service skills
Confidence managing a busy schedule and competing priorities
Reliable, professional and detail-oriented
Comfortable taking initiative and providing leadership at the front desk
A positive team player who values accountability and organization
