We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dynamic dental office team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and proficiency in dental office software to ensure smooth operations and a welcoming environment for our patients.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage the check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and manage the dental office calendar effectively.
Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
Maintain accurate patient records using electronic medical records systems
Process patient payments and insurance claims accurately.
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure seamless patient flow throughout the office.
Skills
Strong administrative skills with experience in a dental or medical office setting.
Proficiency in using dental software
Familiarity with medical terminology to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to provide outstanding customer service.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong organizational skills to manage appointments and patient records efficiently.
A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and improving office processes.
