Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice for Mondays & Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This is a part time position . This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, proficiency in electronic records, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using our scheduling software.
Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record systems .
Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
Assist with insurance verification and claims processing.
Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist in Canada is an asset
Familiarity with Open Dental OR similar software is highly desirable.
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
