Job Description
Grande Dunes Dental is seeking a highly organized and personable Dental Receptionist to join our team. Our practice is dedicated to providing high-quality dental care in a professional and welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a background in dentistry, strong communication skills, and experience working with dental insurances, dental scheduling and dental terminology. This position plays an important role in being the face of our office and making our patients feel welcome.
Responsibilities
Verify Dental Insurances
Answer phones and schedule appropriately
Greet and check in all patients in a very friendly and welcoming manner
Check patients out and collect payments
Coordinate scheduling related to treatment acceptance
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment, financial options, and appointments
Support front office operations and assist team members when needed
Help maintain a positive, team-based work environment
Qualifications
Previous dental office experience required
Experience with dental insurance benefit verification
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly organized and detail-oriented
Comfortable discussing out of pocket costs with patients and collecting payments
Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented dental practice
Work Environment
