Job Description
Seeking Experienced Dental Receptionist (Westland)
Our busy patient centered dental practice is seeking an experienced, friendly, dependable, motivated, and efficient receptionist for our front administration team. The hours for this position would be Monday-Thursday 8:45am-5:00pm, and rotating Saturdays 7:45am-1:00pm.
This position can potentially move into a management role .
Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Answering multiple phone lines and forwarding messages
-Properly scheduling and confirming patient appointments
- Greeting and checking in patients
- Entering and verifying patient insurance information
- Collecting and processing patient payments
- Support office staff with filing, faxing, scanning and basic day-to-day tasks
- Respond to, prepare, and process insurance claims and requests in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate and confidential files
- Ensure the privacy and security of protected health information per HIPAA requirement
Ideal candidate must:
*Have excellent communication skills
*Experience in dental is a MUST!
*Be organized and must be able to work independently
*Have strong interpersonal skills
