If you are detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and passionate about delivering outstanding administrative support in a fast-paced dental setting, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
Patient Hospitality: Greet patients warmly and efficiently manage the check-in and check-out processes with professional phone etiquette and a welcoming demeanor.
Strategic Scheduling: Accurately schedule appointments and coordinate closely with the dental procedure timelines to optimize daily patient flow; fill last minute cancelations, and continuously confirm patient appointments
Insurance & Verification: Perform comprehensive insurance eligibility checks, verify dental coverage, and confidently navigate insurance portals.
Billing & Collections: Collect copays, present treatment plans with transparent out-of-pocket estimates, process payments, and manage daily billing procedures utilizing dental practice management systems.
Records & Compliance: Depending upon experience level: maintain accurate, organized, and confidential dental records, ensuring strict documentation review in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Communication Management: Handle the phone system with grace, addressing patient inquiries, managing text/email confirmation platforms, and routing calls appropriately.
Skills & Requirements
Dental Experience (Strictly Required): Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working in a dental front office setting. No exceptions—general medical or retail customer service experience will not be considered.
Dental Software Mastery: Extensive experience with Dentrix dental office management software is required.
Dental Fluency: Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, common dental procedures, insurance breakdown structures, and claims processing.
Administrative Excellence: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, strong typing skills (including 10-key for accurate ledger entry), and excellent organizational skills for digital filing.
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to handle high-volume patient interactions smoothly and professionally.
Bilingual Capabilities: Conversational Spanish is a major plus to help us serve our diverse local Space Coast community, but is not required.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: Competitive and fully commensurate with experience. (We highly reward expertise, dental software proficiency, and a strong background in front-office management).
