Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Dental Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing front desk tasks and providing exceptional customer service in a dental office setting.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using dental software like Dentrix or Eaglesoft
- Manage patient records, including updating personal information and insurance details
- Answer phone calls, emails, and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Process billing and insurance claims accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
- Adhere to HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Skills
- Experience working in a dental office or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
- Knowledge of dental software is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with patients and staff
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of front desk operations and office management practices
