Dental Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for patients, managing appointment scheduling, patient check-in and check-out, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency with dental software, and a strong understanding of dental terminology to support efficient patient care and administrative functions.

Duties
Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival and departure
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments
Manage inquiries, direct calls, and handle appointment requests
Verify patient insurance information
Collect payments, process billing, and handle insurance claims efficiently
Maintain organized patient records
Coordinate with dental staff to facilitate smooth patient flow throughout the day
Requirements
Prior experience as a Dental Receptionist or in a dental office setting highly preferred
Strong knowledge of dental terminology
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in record keeping and scheduling
Exceptional communication skills—friendly, professional demeanor, and ability to interact effectively with patients and staff
Knowledge of insurance verification processes and billing procedures is desirable

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
