Job Description
Nashua Family Dental, led by Dr. Keshian, is searching for a Dental Receptionist to be the welcoming face of our practice and help ensure a smooth experience for our patients. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love interacting with people, and have experience with Dentrix EMR software, we want to hear from you!

Our receptionists are the backbone of our team, ensuring every patient’s visit is seamless from the first phone call to check-out.
Responsibilities:
Greet patients warmly and check them in for their appointments
Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries about scheduling, insurance, and services
Coordinate appointments and manage the dental office schedule
Verify patient insurance eligibility and handle pre-authorizations
Manage and update patient records using Dentrix EMR
Collect co-pays and manage billing at the front desk
Assist in the preparation of treatment plans and provide cost estimates to patients
Communicate effectively with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Qualifications:
Experience using Dentrix EMR software is required
Previous experience working in a dental office or healthcare setting preferred
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable handling financial transactions and discussing payments with patients
Familiarity with insurance billing and pre-authorizations
Team player with a positive and professional demeanor
